The list of fuels below provides legal certainty for England

The manufactured solid fuels published below have been authorised by the Secretary of State for sale and burning in designated smoke control areas within England in accordance with the requirements of authorisation under the Clean Air Act 1993 and are also certified for use by publication of this list in accordance with the requirements of The Air Quality (Domestic Solid Fuels Standards) (England) Regulations 2020.
